Lowercase Capital provides capital and advisory services to start-ups and late-stage companies alike. According to published reports, Chris Sacca, a prolific Silicon Valley angel investor, is the fund manger, and the fund size was initially in the $5 million range. In the Fall of 2010 it was reported that Lowercase raised $20 million in funding. for new fund named 'Lowercase Industry Fund.' Sacca raised over $11 million in a filing from early August and $10 million in a filing from June, 2010. Lowercase will make investments ranging from $50,000 - $150,000 per deal. Sacca was previously the head of strategic initiatives at Google, and has invested in dozens of startups in the last few years. Sacca is an Associate Fellow of the Said Business School at Oxford University, and maintains a blog at www.whatisleft.org.
