Ensemble is a modern early-stage venture capital firm that is backed by category-defining operators and investors. We started Ensemble VC because we saw an opportunity to do better for founders. We believe that the most fundamental ingredient to company success is people — the founders and teams translating ideas into products that result ingenerational-defining companies. But founders and VCs are both caught in an endless treadmill of fundraising calls, and most meetings are uncomfortable, impersonal, and transactional. Everyone hopes to get married but the process often feels more like speed dating. We also practice what we preach: we use data, just like the founders we back, in our own business. We leverage our proprietary data platform to personalize support for founders early - focusing on data-driven value add while spending the time to truly understand the business, the team, and the mission.
